Oro Valley Farmers Market

The Oro Valley Farmer’s Market is now located at Steam Pump Ranch, 10901 N. Oracle Road, north of the Home Depot Retail Center in Oro Valley, Arizona. In addition to some fantastic vendors, you can also enjoy the stunning Catalina Mountain views and walk around the historic Steam Pump Ranch. On a recent visit I was floored by the selection and the great vendors. From great Kansas City BBQ to some of the FRESHEST produce I have ever seen, homemade salsa to tamales, fresh baked breads and pastries, coffees and teas, prickly pears ( and free recipes on what to do with them), homemade dried fruits and veggie snacks, soaps and other bath products, eggs to empanadas- you are sure to come home with goodies from the Oro Valley Farmers market!

Here is a link to their current vendors.

I also had in my bag some tangerines from Desert Treasures Orange Groves, peppers, two kinds of jam, some EVOO from Desert Southwest and a delicious smelling soap from Alpine Goat Girl. There are a lot of other great vendors—score some breads from the Bakehouse Bread Company that are so good you will want them for dessert and don't forget some rich, organically grown coffee from Adventure Coffee Roasting.

Long story short—make it a fun morning with friends, family on just on your own and get over to the Oro Valley Farmers Market. You can also visit this great page with lots of information, including details on the other farmer's markets that Heirloom operates around Tucson.
