Interestingly enough, COVID-19 has not put a damper on our local Tucson housing market. We experienced a few months of lower sales volume, but things have rebounded (at least for now) to high levels. In fact, I can’t recall a June and July that we have been this busy with buyers. Inventory is VERY low—in fact, Jay and I have sold through all of our listings (we have more coming soon, though!) Rates are historically INCREDIBLY low, and buyers are tweaking what they want in a home with the prospect of COVID-19 staying with us for the foreseeable future. Space for a home office (or two), lots of great outdoor space, extra living space so family members can have take a break from time to time and pools are some of the top requests we hear these days.
